Pay Range

$46.55 - $69.85

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree with five years' fundraising experience required. Fundraising experience in an academic medical center, children's health organization, cancer center or with corporations/foundations preferred. Advanced degree preferred. Experience with capital campaigns preferred. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: Valid driver's license ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Identifies, cultivates, and solicits major gifts or corporate/foundation sponsorships. 2. Develops, implements, and executes events and programs in support of development activities and executive fundraising strategies. 3. Works collaboratively with the other development staff, leaders, volunteers and key Medical Center leaders to identify and cultivate individual donors and corporate and foundation relationships, identify fundraising needs and formulates proposal strategies. 4. Prepares platform strategic plan including goals for dollars raised, etc. Manages regular platform team meetings to ensure execution of plans for annual fund raising, events/activities, communications, donor relations, and major/leadership fundraising. 5. Supervises assigned employees. Monitors performance and provides on-going performance feedback. Supports career development efforts. Conducts annual evaluations for direct report(s). 6. Represents and translates Medical Center fundraising priorities to regional and national audiences. 7. Directs the publicity of major and principal gifts and corporate/foundation sponsorships. 8. Identifies new high-potential donors. Develops prospect cultivation plans. 9. Engages and leads assigned advisory groups in fundraising activities. 10. Works with the Development and Alumni Relations Communications group as well as PR and Marketing staff to develop a communications plan and associated fundraising marketing materials. 11. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
