Job Description:

The Asset & Work Management (AWM) Regional Services Leader for Europe plays a pivotal role in driving the growth, quality, and operational excellence of AWM consulting and service delivery across the region. Reporting to the Global Operations and Consulting Leader, this position leads regional consulting, implementation, and partner engagement activities to ensure Hitachi Energy customers achieve measurable value from AWM solutions.

This role is responsible for shaping and executing the European services strategy, scaling a high‑performing delivery organization, and ensuring operational discipline across consulting, education, implementation, and value‑realization functions. Success requires deep experience in solution‑based consulting within asset‑intensive industries, strong commercial and financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate across global and local teams.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Develop and execute the regional AWM services strategy aligned with global operational and consulting priorities.

  • Localize global service offerings to European regulatory, cultural, and industry needs.

  • Lead consulting, education, implementation, and value‑realization service delivery across the region.

  • Ensure projects meet KPIs including customer satisfaction, delivery timeliness, quality, and time‑to‑value.

  • Own regional P&L, including bookings, revenue, margin, utilization, and workforce planning.

  • Build and manage the regional partner ecosystem, ensuring consistency, capability, and delivery quality.

  • Support pre‑sales activities, RFP responses, and value‑based positioning of services in the market.

  • Represent Europe in global forums and provide insights on delivery, customer needs, and market dynamics.

Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in consulting, software implementation, professional services, or customer success.

  • Demonstrated leadership of geographically distributed teams within Europe.

  • Experience delivering software‑based business models, including SaaS and on‑premises solutions.

  • Proven financial accountability, including revenue, margin, and services forecasting.

  • Industry background within energy or transport, ideally with asset‑intensive or operational technologies.

  • Experience collaborating with, managing, or governing third‑party delivery partners.

  • Willingness to travel regionally up to 30%.

Additional skills required:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and build high‑performing teams in a matrix environment.

  • Deep expertise in consulting methodologies, solution implementation, and service lifecycle management.

  • Commercial acumen with the ability to articulate value, support sales cycles, and influence buying decisions.

  • Operational discipline with experience in metrics‑driven management, standardization, and continuous improvement.

  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build trusted executive‑level relationships and deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Excellent communication skills and cultural fluency, enabling effective collaboration across diverse European markets.
