Role Overview
The primary purpose of the Asset Management Intern is to support the development and implementation of a data-driven asset management program within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on improving asset reliability, optimizing lifecycle costs, and reducing operational risk through structured data, analysis, and cross-functionalcollaboration.
What You’ll Work On (Real Projects)
Build & clean asset data
o Structure asset hierarchy (plant → line → equipment)
o Standardize naming and attributes in CMMS / ERP
Identify critical assets
o Analyze which equipment drives production, cost, and risk
o Support creation of a criticality ranking model
Improve maintenance effectiveness
o Review preventive maintenance plans
o Identify gaps between planned vs reactive work
Support planning & execution
o Help track weekly maintenance schedules
o Analyze backlog and downtime trends
Turn data into insights
o Create simple dashboards (Excel / Power BI / Tableau)
o Present findings to site leadership

· Exposure to CMMS / ERP systems (e.g., SAP PM)
· Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
· Basic understanding of maintenance or manufacturing processes
The starting rate of pay for this position is expected to be $19.00; however, starting pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience between $19.00 and $21.00.
