About the role - Mō te tūranga

As an Asset Management Coordinator, you’ll support the coordination and administration of fleet assets across New Zealand, learning how they’re managed from onboarding through to end of life. This is a great early‑career role for someone looking to build strong foundations in fleet operations, asset management, compliance, and stakeholder coordination — with training and support from an experienced team.

Additionally, you will:

  • Coordinate and track fleet assets across our national network
  • Check equipment is fit for travel and support onboarding/offboarding
  • Maintain accurate asset records and databases
  • Assist with cost management and compliance tasks
  • Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Support reporting and get involved in ad‑hoc fleet projects

To succeed in this role, we’re looking for someone who has a great attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Additionally, you will bring:

  • Some exposure to fleet, transport, logistics, or operations (through work, internships, or study projects) or a strong desire to learn
  • Strong organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset
  • Comfortable working with data and systems (especially Excel)
  • Full, clean NZ driver’s licence
