Asset Management Analyst

European Headquarters - London Full time
This role within the Asset Management team offers broad exposure across power and energy management, leasing, and operational cost control, supporting the efficient and sustainable running of facilities that underpin the digital economy.

Operational Cost Management

  • Conduct detailed reviews of site-level operating costs, including maintenance and repairs, to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimise expenditure.
  • Monitor and track the operating performance of our data centre assets, analysing trends and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, summarising key findings and actionable insights.

Power & Energy Management

  • Analyse and forecast power usage across CyrusOne’s European data centre facilities, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Review customer metered power recharges, ensuring accurate billing and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with our energy team to manage power hedges, monitor market conditions, and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Leasing & Real Estate

  • Identify and unlock customer lease opportunities through proactive lease management and optimisation strategies.
  • Manage core real estate data for European properties, including property attributes, lease terms, and critical dates.
  • Support the negotiation and execution of lease agreements, amendments, and terminations.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with Operations, Design, Sales, Engineering, Facilities Management, Finance, and Project Development to drive strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in energy, utilities, and real estate.

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications. 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex insights clearly.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven approach to problem-solving. 
  • Knowledge of energy/utilities, real estate, or critical facility operations is advantageous.

Education:

  • Qualified or part-qualified ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA.
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical or engineering subject preferred but not essential.
