Asset Management Analyst

The Analyst, Asset Management leverages specialized knowledge and expertise to analyze and evaluate assets, addressing partnership, financing, and real estate considerations at the operating level. This role involves contributing to the full life cycle of investments, from closing to disposition, within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

We Innovate to shape the future of CRE, so in this role you will:

  • Review and analyze construction and lease-up monitoring reports to track progress and prepare financial projections to estimate development budget gaps and tax credit delivery.
  • Evaluate quarterly and annual financial reports to assess asset performance, including stabilization gaps, cash flow projections, and market valuations.
  • Conduct analyses to support asset management functions, such as capital installment releases, tax credit and loss estimates, and compliance with partnership agreements.
  • Assist in preparing internal and external reports, including operational analyses, risk assessments, watchlist updates, and routine performance summaries.
  • Support the implementation of a new asset management database by ensuring timely data collection, maintaining data integrity, and assisting with report creation, specifications, and testing.
  • Collaborate with general partners, property managers, accountants, and other stakeholders to ensure timely reporting, resolve issues, and safeguard the long-term viability of assets.
  • Monitor multifamily market trends, with a focus on affordable housing, to understand industry dynamics and the performance of comparable properties.
  • Generate and maintain monthly and quarterly reports from the asset database for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct annual property site visits, preparing detailed reports on management quality, property condition, equipment, and market assessments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

We are passionate about your growth, so to achieve success in this role you should have: 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, draw conclusions, and interpret results to support decision-making with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of or experience with Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and a strong working knowledge of financial modeling.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a similar position.
