Amentum has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Asset Data Quality Technician to join their team in Alice Springs, NT - Australia.

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (No exceptions—only cleared candidates will be considered.) or Australian Citizen who can obtain the appropriate level of security clearance.

THE ROLE

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The Asset Data Quality Technician coordinates, facilitates and administers actions necessary to ensure the consistent and effective management of asset information through all stages of the asset life cycle. The position is a key contributor to the development of an integrated and site wide asset management culture.

The Asset Data Quality Technician works collaboratively as part of the Asset Management Team to deliver accurate information related to asset life cycle conditions, maintenance, and regulatory requirements necessary to optimize operational resiliency, reliability, efficiency, and capability.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities/Duties

Ensure Integrity of Asset Information

  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy and completeness of assets captured in SAP.
  • Identify, develop, implement, coordinate, and monitor processes to ensure integrity of asset information across multiple platforms.

Conduct Field Inspection Data Management

  • Conduct physical audits of the facilities assets.
  • Coordinate, facilitate and administer actions necessary to ensure the consistent and reliable support of field inspection data management activities.

Report and Analyse Asset Performance Risks

  • Assist with reports and metrics delivering information on asset conditions, downtime, costs, recapitalization projects and the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the systems, processes and projects which form the asset management system.

Support Site Wide Asset Management Culture

  • Support provision of asset information through all stages of the asset life cycle.
  • Liaise and support asset data providers on asset queries and relevant data sets.
  • Support the development of data governance frameworks; develop and implement quality assurance (QA) rules and notification procedures, monitor and report QA performance in accordance with the Site standards. 

Assess Procedural Adherence and Operational Risks

  • Assess and monitor procedural adherence and operational risks through the evaluation of issues and/or gaps in identified Asset Management processes.
  • Monitor procedural adherence to mitigate operational risks.

Ensure Compliance with Environmental Health and Safety Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Essential

  • Certificate IV
  • Or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Field: Asset Management, Business Administration or Trade Background

 Desirable

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s degree
  • Graduate Certificate

Field: Asset Management, Business Administration, or relevant field

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS– Minimum Essential

Minimum Essential

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience in asset management positions within the Government Services or a related industry.
  • Ability to identify, inform and drive asset related procedures.
  • Capacity to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, research to make informed decisions.
  • Experience working with SAP
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute as a member of a team
  • Possess advanced organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to change and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Willingness to collaborate with others to achieve preferred business outcomes
  • Demonstrated customer focus
  • The ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy objects
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding and commitment to the principles of workplace diversity and equity, and EH&S

STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to fluently read, write and speak English
  • Australian or US citizen

Security Clearance Requirement

It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI (U.S.) clearance w/ Poly

EHS REQUIREMENT
