Salary up to £38,000 depending on experience
Renishaw are currently looking to recruit a multiskilled electronic assembly maintenance engineer at our Miskin facility in South Wales.
The role requires you as the successful candidate to work as part of a day shift operation with the responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of assembly production equipment, mechanically and electrically.
Knowledge of Surface Mount equipment and automated soldering systems would be a distinct advantage.
Responsibilities
Planned preventative maintenance activities on surface mount machines and various related production equipment.
Reactive and proactive breakdown response.
Demonstrating good electro-mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
Delivering quality workmanship in terms of time, accuracy and job feedback.
Accurately assessing and communicating fault diagnostic issues and corrective actions to the supervision team.
Key requirements
Higher National Certificate (HNC) / City and Guilds in Electrical/Electronic/mechanical Engineering
Completion of an engineering based apprenticeship.
Electronics Assembly equipment experience
Basic IT/PC skills as a minimum
Person Specification
Methodical and capable of following verbal and written work instructions. Good work attendance record. Can work competently on a stand-alone basis or as part of a team. A clear thinker with good attention to detail. Self-motivated with an excellent diagnostic approach to fault finding.
