Job Responsibilities
- Assemble all components per bill of material, work instructions, and company process following procedures for product assembly/fabrication, equipment operation, and safety requirements as documented in the company’s quality system.
- Test products, equipment, and materials per the production department and company’s quality system procedures.
- Work alongside team members while striving for the daily production goals.
- Understand quality procedures and where they are located.
- Follow all safety rules and guidelines.
- Understand, follow, and actively participate in lean initiatives (hr x hr documenting, line standard work, MDI, 5s).
- Show interest in line improvement, identify concerns, and actively give suggestions.
- Inspect finished products and properly package for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
Position Hours/Shift:
- 1st shift hours Monday through Thursday from 5am – 3:30pm
- Must be open to working overtime if needed on Friday
Environment:
- Climate controlled manufacturing and warehouse facility.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and work 10 hours a day.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Be able to set up and operate basic, manual metal fabrication machines.
- Be able to utilize calibrated precision measuring instruments.
- Be able to read and interpret blueprints.
