Your Impact/The Role
The Assembler III is an advanced manufacturing role responsible for building, testing, and troubleshooting complex mechanical, optical, electrical, and electronic assemblies. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, supporting production throughput, and enabling new product introduction efforts. Assembler III team members are highly proficient contributors who serve as technical resources within the production team, support cross-training, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Assemble, test, troubleshoot, and calibrate complex mechanical, electrical, electronic, and electro‑optical systems in accordance with detailed work instructions, drawings, and quality standards
Perform subassembly and unit‑level testing to verify functionality, performance, and conformance to specifications
Support prototype builds, product changes, and new product introductions
Cross‑train across multiple production cells and products to support production flexibility, coverage, and throughput
Identify, document, and help resolve assembly, test, or process issues; assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
Maintain accurate and complete production and quality documentation in compliance with quality system requirements
Train and mentor others in designated areas
Participate in inventory control, material handling, and coordination with cross‑functional teams to support production flow
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency
Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures and help reinforce standard work and best practices within the production environment

Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Three + years of progressive experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including experience with complex assemblies
Demonstrated ability to work independently from written, graphical, and pictorial work instructions, schematics, and drawings
Advanced proficiency with hand tools, assembly fixtures, soldering equipment, and test equipment
Proven IPC‑610 and IPC‑620 soldering workmanship skills
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail and quality
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team‑based environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort using ERP or manufacturing systems
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role primarily operates in an office/lab/manufacturing environment. Must be able to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods of time
Lifting of up to 25 lbs. required, multiple times per day

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary range: $25 - $30 per hour, depending on experience

For new hires, offers are generally within the established min- to mid-point of the range for the role, with flexibility to recognize experience, skills, and education.
