Assembler I
Assembler I perform tasks that are necessary to the production process. Under direct supervision, performs routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes while keeping safety and quality top priority
Key Responsibilities
Maintain tidy work areas and follow detailed instructions in order to meet safety and quality requirements.
Comprehend and follow detailed verbal or written instructions, as well as diagrams, blueprints, and other technical documents.
Be a team player who is willing to work with those in their assigned lines or groups.
Requires use of a few simple hand tools.
Identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures.
Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience and Skill Required
High school diploma or equivalent and less than one year of experience.
Use tools to make or repair parts and products.
Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions such as standard work.
Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
Keep a clean and tidy workspace.
Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry.
Ability to use reason to solve problems as they arise.
Previous manufacturing assembler experience preferred but not required.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to stand continuously for up to 10 hours per day.
Attention to detail.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
