Summary of Job Duties:

To provide a range of clinical responsibilities under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor and coordinate services and projects related to the social and emotional wellbeing of ASMSA students.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work

  • Current Arkansas license/eligibility must be obtained within 6 months of hire date in one of the following helping professions: Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider; Licensed Clinical Social Worker; Licensed Master Social Worker.

  • Experience in student support programs, with a preference for familiarity with gifted and talented student populations


Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:


  • Knowledge of computer software programs.

  • Exemplary interpersonal skills and ability to establish quick rapport with students.

  • Good organizational skills.

  • Strong verbal, and writing skills.

  • Willingness to perform relevant duties as assigned.
