What You’ll Do:
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the hotel’s reservation system.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
Communicate estimated wait times and accommodate special seating requests when possible.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries regarding hours, menus, and reservations.
Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction.
Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating plans as needed.
Assist with guest recovery and resolve minor concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Attend required hotel meetings and training sessions
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the restaurant.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications Include:
At least 1 year of prior experience in a hospitality or customer service role, with a preference for experience as a restaurant Host.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills.
