As-a-Service Solution Architect Internship

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a motivated and talented university student to join our Presales and Business Development team as an As-a-Service Solution Architect Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in a high-tech environment, contributing to real engineering and business development projects that support HPE’s vision of Hybrid Cloud Consumption and As-a-Service solutions.

In this role, the intern will work with experienced team members to learn how to identify customer needs and develop solutions aligned with Hybrid Cloud and AI consumption models, leveraging HPE technologies and services to deliver business value and support customers in their transition to the as-a-service economy.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Computer Engineering or related fields, has a strong technology background, and demonstrates a genuine interest in cloud services, technology presales, and as-a-service business models.

Seeking a university student actively enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Computer Engineering, Infrastructure and Technology Platforms Engineering Administration or Business Administration with strong technology orientation with a background in technology tools. This internship offers hands-on experience in a high-tech environment, supporting real-world engineering projects and fostering professional growth.

Intern will contribute to various tasks aligned with the Materials Engineering role, including collaboration on team initiatives, problem-solving, and creative thinking to support innovation and continuous improvement

HPE is looking for young talents who would like to join our services presales team as Intern.

This role will work with experienced team members to learn about identifying customer needs and developing solutions oriented to an as-a- service model focused on Hybrid Cloud Consumption Solutions, leveraging HPE’s technology and services, that deliver business value and help customers’ transformation to a new as-a-service economy.

The intern will contribute to various tasks aligned with presales and business development activities, including collaboration on team initiatives, problem-solving, and creative thinking to support innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Solution Development

  • Learn and support solution development based on HPE’s Hybrid Cloud, AI, and As-a-Service portfolio.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to technologies such as virtualization, cloud computing, infrastructure, and data protection.
  • Assist in creating packaged services, Statements of Work (SoW), and other deliverables, including localization and customization of global HPE offerings.

Sales & Business Development Collaboration

  • Support presales and sales teams in identifying opportunities aligned with HPE’s portfolio.
  • Generate industry-specific sales content aligned with target verticals.
  • Work with experienced team members to understand customer needs and help develop business value propositions aligned to as-a-service delivery models.
  • Contribute new ideas to optimize existing processes and improve the team’s day-to-day workflows.

Engineering, Automation & Demonstrations

  • Prepare, automate, and develop technology demonstrations for internal and external audiences.
  • Showcase HPE technologies through presentations, demos, lab activities, and technical validation workflows.

Advisory-Led Initiatives Support

  • Assist in research and analysis of market, industry, and customer technology trends to inform advisory insights.
  • Help map customer pain points to Hybrid Cloud, As-a-Service, and AI-driven use cases using HPE’s transformation frameworks.
  • Participate in the creation of customized advisory reports for customers, highlighting business value, operational improvements, and modernization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior advisors to document findings, consolidate customer feedback, and develop recommendations.
  • Support the integration of automation and AI tools to accelerate advisory deliverables and insights.

Profile & Requirements

Education

Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, ideally in:

  • Computer Engineering
  • Infrastructure and Technology Platforms Engineering
  • Administration or Business Administration with strong technology orientation
  • Final-year students are preferred

Technical Background & Experience:

  • Demonstrated background in Information Technology fundamentals (cloud, AI, servers, storage, and networks).
  • Experience in college technology organizations or industry projects.

  • Fluent English (oral and written).
  • Strong commercial mindset and results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and work effectively with partners and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead tasks with creative thinking and problem-solving.
