Job Summary: About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Ramstein Arts & Crafts Center, Ramstein AB, Germany. This position is directly responsible for the oversight of all functions within the Arts and Crafts operations which also includes Auto Hobby/Annex/Recycling and Woodshop programs. This position may offer logistical support.

Major Duties:

  • Directly responsible for the oversight of all functions within the Arts and Crafts operations which also includes Auto Hobby/Annex/Recycling and Woodshop programs. Responsible for the management, administration, technical and operations of the program. Reviews, analyzes and interprets Air Force directives for implementation. Develops local management policies concerning the operation and utilization of the activity. Responsible for the planning, scheduling and coordinating of programs and other activities. Ensures compliance of management resources, equipment, property control and inventory. Prepares NAF and APF budgets, completes analysis of operating statements and creates short and long-range strategic plans. Maintains a 5-year capital improvement plan. Ensures all tools and equipment in all operations are maintained and in serviceable condition. Responsible for preparing, coordinating and supporting marketing efforts involving the program operations. Monitors customer feedback. Receives and resolves customer complaints and requests for special services. Ensures good housekeeping procedures are followed by employees and patrons. Manages the applicable social media for the operations supervised. Works with CE to initiate and track work orders for all Arts and Crafts requirements. Maintains and develops all environmental programs and guidance. Maintains and updates all Management Internal Checklist Toolkits items (MICT). Responsible for work force management, recruitment, and staff training. Perform other duties as assigned. The experience must have provided knowledge of accounting and financial planning principles and procedures. Must be skilled in working with others, as well as knowledgeable of financial and personnel management techniques and administrative policies and procedures. Must be able to communicate effectively to team members and management both orally and in writing. May work uncommon work schedule including weekends
