[What the role is]
The AI Engineer will be a pivotal technical role focused on the end-to-end lifecycle of AI and ICT solutions. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying innovative, scalable and reliable applications that integrate seamlessly with ITE’s infrastructure.
[What you will be working on]
You will be expected to:
- Design, develop and maintain robust AI and ICT solutions tailored to institutional needs.
- Implement and optimise MLOps pipelines to ensure streamlined model training, data integration, and continuous monitoring
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure AI functionalities are integrated effectively across system-wide platforms.
- Ensure all AI initiatives strictly adhere to the ITE AI Governance Framework and comply with IM8 government regulations.
- Manage project timelines, budgeting, and the government procurement process for AI-related assets and services.
- Support broader digitalisation efforts and undertake strategic responsibilities as assigned to advance ITE’s technological roadmap.
- Promote AI competency and foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the team.

- Possess a relevant academic or Professional qualification in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in implementing projects involving AI, data science, or related technologies.
- Proficient in machine learning, NLP, and related AI technologies.
- Skilled in Python, Power Apps, Power BI and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Experience in government procurement and IM8 policy would be an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and report writing skills.
