The selected candidate will lead the delivery of AI and analytics products across a portfolio of Generative AI (GenAI), Manufacturing, Safety, Quality, and other business domains. This role will be responsible for guiding the development of innovative, bespoke software solutions that help Boeing accelerate data-driven decision making and deliver meaningful business impact.
This manager will lead full-stack software developers and User Experience (UX) designers in a collaborative, agile environment focused on designing, building, and deploying AI-powered products and analytics solutions. The selected individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and product leaders to translate strategic priorities into scalable digital capabilities that improve operational effectiveness, support innovation, and enable intelligent decision-making across the enterprise.
The Enterprise AI & Data team is responsible for delivering high-impact AI and analytics products that support current and future Boeing business needs. This includes all aspects of the product development lifecycle, including concept development, requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, adoption, and sustainment. The leader in this role will support each of these lifecycle areas throughout execution, with a strong focus on customer value, technical excellence, and delivery discipline.
The portfolio is growing with continued demand for AI-enabled solutions across the enterprise, including generative AI use cases, manufacturing intelligence, safety analytics, quality insights, and other priority business domains. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping and scaling Boeing’s AI and analytics product development capability.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead product development activities across the Enterprise AI & Data portfolio, collaborating with business and technical partners to ensure successful execution
Direct and develop full-stack software development and UX design teams focused on delivering AI and analytics products
Champion technical excellence, product thinking, continuous improvement, and knowledge-sharing across teams and programs
Partner with business stakeholders to identify high-value use cases and translate needs into product roadmaps and deliverables
Collaborate with data science, data engineering, architecture, security, and platform teams to ensure end-to-end solution alignment
Support the development of GenAI, Manufacturing, Safety, Quality, and other enterprise business domain solutions
Drive delivery of intuitive, scalable, and maintainable software products that enable data-driven decision making
Oversee multiple initiatives and priorities across the product portfolio
Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to resolve issues, manage dependencies, and support decision-making
Support agile planning, workflow management, metrics, and governance practices
Ensure product development aligns with Boeing engineering standards, compliance requirements, and enterprise technology strategies
Support talent development, performance management, and organizational capability building within the team
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of experience with electrical engineering, software engineering, or advanced data analytics related product/ technology development
5+ years of experience solving complex business problems and delivering solutions via technology
5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
3+ years of experience leading a software development team through the full software life cycle
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
Experience leading AI, data, analytics, or digital product development initiatives
Experience with GenAI, machine learning, analytics platforms, or enterprise data solutions
Experience managing full-stack software development teams
Experience working with UX design teams or product design practices
Experience in aerospace manufacturing, safety, quality, or other large-scale operational domains
Experience with agile delivery methodologies and product lifecycle management
Experience with data-driven decision making and product-oriented delivery
Experience working in a large, complex enterprise environment
Experience influencing stakeholders and driving alignment across multiple organizations
