MercyOne North Iowa Cancer Center 

  • Busy outpatient practice with instant volume 

  • 4.5 day work-week 

  • Beautiful, patient-friendly, comprehensive Cancer Center 

  • Join a collegial team of 3 Hematology Oncologists, 2 Radiation Oncologists, and 3 Advanced Practice Providers  

  • APP practice includes performing bone marrow biopsies & aspirate procedures, seeing patients on active treatment, and patient follow-up appointments  

  • $10 million expansion/renovation completed in 2021 

  • 24 infusion chairs and 20 exam rooms 

  • Reasonable patient load to help support an excellent work-life balance 

  • Survivorship and genetics programs available in the center 

  • NO CALL!! 

  • 24/7 Hospitalist team that handles most calls and inpatient responsibilities  

  • Weekly tumor boards with on-site specialists, including Pathology, Radiology, General Surgery, Urology, GI, etc.  

  • Support staff includes a dietitian, nurse navigators, physical therapist, clinical pharmacist, financial counselor, tumor registrars, etc. 

  • Base Salary: $114,121 (0-2 years); $118,876 (2+ years) ++ production! 

  • $10,000 starting bonus 

  • Full benefits package, including paid malpractice and tail coverage, $3,000 CME/year, 2 retirement plans, generous PTO package, and so much more!

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a Masters of Nursing Program or CAHEA approved Physician Assistant training program. Successful completion of certification. Current licensure in the state of Iowa as an Advanced Practice Nurse or as a Physician Assistant; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate. Must be able to obtain MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team.
