An ARMO Mechanic is responsible for Mechanical and hydraulic work at onshore base
As an ARMO Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining, modifying, and repairing equipment and tools mechanically with required quality
- Mobilizing equipment and tools mechanically according to operational requirements
- Performing mechanical and hydraulic maintenance, modification, fault finding, and repair
- Preparing, setting up, and packing equipment/tools for mobilization
- Inspecting, cleaning, and receiving equipment/tools returning from work, repair, or suppliers
- Testing equipment and tools (per component and as a system)
- Preserving equipment/tools mechanically or hydraulically for extended storage
- Contributing to work preparation (ordering parts, planning work sequence)
- Reporting performed work and faults found in shop systems
- Updating work orders and documentation based on experience
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace
- Using company resources (tools, materials, equipment) carefully and properly
- Taking personal responsibility for HSE and complying with workshop regulations
- Evaluating risks associated with work
- Reporting non‑conformances and risk observations
- Participating in duty system as required
- Performing other workshop tasks as directed by supervisor

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a trade certificate in mechanical trades or Technical College qualification
- Have experience with mechanical work on related equipment
- Have a high standard of workmanship
- Have knowledge of trade‑specific work standards
- Have risk awareness and HSE consciousness
- Have experience using computer‑based maintenance and reporting systems
