The Head of Sales for SCIB leads both the Institutional Sales and Corporate Sales Verticals of the SCIB Markets business in Argentina. As Argentina transitions from a closed business environment with many restrictions to a more open one, this role will also involve driving new products, working with offshore teams, structuring solutions for our local client base, and collaborating with offshore client coverage teams (both for Offshore Institutional Sales and Global Corporates) to export Argentina Markets products across FX, Rates, Credit, and Solutions. Some requirements forthis role are:
• Extensive experience at a global or local bank with appropriate client relationships, product knowledge and a strong track record of building, managing and growing a business.
• Experience of working outside Argentina in one of the global financial centers like New York or London is a plus.
• The role is that of a Player-Coach where the Player aspect will be to driving revenues and the client franchise with one of the client segments and the coach aspect is to manage the Client Business for Global Markets in Argentina with all client segments as well as leading and driving the whole Sales team.
• Product specialization in the FIC space (Rates, Credit and FX) as well as the ability to collaborate and work closely with the global and offshore teams in Sales and Structuring.
• A mindset to maximize Total Book Value and to align Sales and Trading with a common objective. A close partnership with the Head of Trading and Head of Markets in Argentina is a must
• A motivated individual looking to join a large local platform, bringing fresh leadership of the client business in Markets to drive both the revenues and the Arg franchise (local and global).
