SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As an Area Sales Manager Project, you will lead decorative project sales in the western region by promoting Jotun’s products, securing targeted projects, and achieving sales and gross margin objectives. The role involves ensuring effective use of sales tools, timely payment collection (optimized DSO- Days Sales Outstanding), and high customer satisfaction, while positioning Jotun as a preferred project partner in the region.Responsibilities:
Lead market mapping and territory expansion by continuously analyzing market dynamics, customer demand, economic trends, and competitor activities to strengthen market position and drive growth.
Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with customers, contractors, site consultants, and paint contractors, strengthening engagement, building loyalty, and positioning the company as the preferred partner.
Conduct regular visits to project sites to follow up on project progress, address technical or supply challenges, and ensure customer satisfaction and retention along with strong cross-functional collaboration internal team to ensure alignment, operational efficiency, and effective delivery of customer requirements.
Monitor and drive performance across key metrics, including sales targets, collections, and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), ensuring financial discipline and target achievement.
Direct, coach, and supervise the Projects Sales team within assigned areas to ensure alignment with business objectives and the achievement of annual sales targets in line with company values.
Conduct structured performance management processes—including regular reviews and feedback sessions (KIT – Key Issue Talks and yPOD – Yearly Performance Objective Development Talks)—to support employee development and enhance organizational effectiveness

We are looking for:
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree. Sales & Marketing is preferable.
5 years of relevant experience in Project Sales and Business Development.
Fluency in Arabic & English – both verbally and written.
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
