This opportunity is best suited to an experienced Area Sales Manager that is analytical and forward thinking with a drive to achieve our ambition of being the number 1 everyday appliance brand throughout Auckland. You will need to be passionate about appliances, with experience in Area Sales Manager type roles, with strong commercial acumen to identify key trends to stay ahead if the curve in the Wellington region appliance market. 

This role will be responsible for the execution of Fisher & Paykel and Haier’s sales strategy through our retail stores, managing existing account relationships to leverage growth opportunities. You will implement our strategic plans within your accounts including management of Sell-in, Sell-out, product on floor placement and in-store experience, delivery of training to retail sales staff, and achievement of monthly and annual sale targets.

You will provide regular reporting updates to the Sales GM’s of Retail, identifying key insights and providing new and innovative solutions that stand out from our competitors. As a brand representative, you will ensure Haier’s merchandising and brand representation is achieved instore, acting as a strong advocate for all retail training to be aligned to our Sales Training program.  

The successful candidate will have the ability to identify key insights and provide new and innovative solutions that stand out from our competitors, ensuring a seamless, brand aligned representation of our brand value proposition, and that merchandising, and brand representation is achieved instore.

When it comes to sales management, you've got it all; you know our products, deeply understand the latest competitor and customer trends, and best practice to influence and skilfully articulate commercial reasons why our products are number one. You will have a data led approach to sales. Your focus will be on the insights the data reveals. You’ll have the skill to know to “fish where the fish are” and anticipate where they will be in the future!

You will know what it means to represent leading brands, engaging the right people using relevant information to make informed decisions. You will think like an owner, understanding and focusing on what creates a whole of business value, taking action fast driving delivery and being accountable for actions and outcomes.

Results driven, you will relish the opportunity to work within and contribute to a dynamic and evolving environment. You believe in building effective relationships that are underpinned by integrity and trust and maintaining a reputation of reliability is important to you. You will be an articulate presenter and negotiator with the ability to influence internally and externally at all levels, asking the tough questions, actively listening and constructively saying what needs to be said.
