Position Summary
The Sales Manager – Mungo Homes must exhibit outstanding sales experience, honed customer service skill and a passion for housing industry. The primary function of this role is to be the liaison between builder sales centers and the assigned loan originator(s). They will act as the initial point of contact and assist in managing the overall production pipeline for the assigned markets. This position should also be passionate about customer service to both external and internal clients. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Builder Production but work closely with the builder’s senior executives.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Partners with Processing, Underwriting, and Closing managers to drive an exceptional customer experience, meet timely metrics, and close customers timely and with quality.
• Identify and resolve any operational inefficiencies
• Works closely with business partners in all departments to lead, communicate and execute necessary process enhancements, new initiatives, and internal and external changes.
• Day to day problem solving with Loan Originators
• Track application capture rate
• Track closing capture rate
• Attend/present at builder meetings
• Work with Builder Team on Grand openings and new phases. Help create new incentives for existing neighborhoods
• Realtor outreach (realtor breakfasts, lunches, office presentations)
• Work with the marketing coordinator/manager and Division Manager on advertising
• Work with the agents on all marketing promotions
• Competitive analysis on product, features and neighborhoods/amenities
• Champions Silverton culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Knowledge, Experience
• Minimum of 7 years sales management and residential loan origination.
• MLO licensed in all states in which region will be conducting business.
• Documented residential mortgage loan branch volume in the past 12 months.
• Established relationships with local referral networks.
Skills
• Financial understanding of branch P&L statements, forecasting and business plans.
• Ability to communicate clearly, effectively to both customers and team members using both verbal and written communication, across a variety of audiences
• Strong computer skills, experience utilizing laptop technology and loan originator software
