Job Description
We are looking for an Area Manager to lead warehouse teams, drive performance, and ensure smooth IB operations. You will coach Team Leaders, uphold safety and quality and collaborate across departments to boost efficiency.
The role offers a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement and leadership growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and develop a team of 150 to 300 Associates and Team Leaders.
- Drive performance of IB operational teams during shifts, resolving issues to meet site objectives.
- Analyze shift performance against business goals and implement actions for continuous improvement.
- Communicate policies clearly to Associates, ensuring consistency, compliance, and corrective actions when necessary.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, Health & Safety, and Security teams.
- Support all safety programs and maintain a secure, compliant working environment.
- Develop and uphold quality control standards to meet customer demand with accuracy.
- Design and deliver site-wide initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools.
- Review work forecasts and align team productivity to meet KPIs and operational targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven managerial experience leading sizable teams, with the ability to motivate others and build strong relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including in-depth analysis of complex processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with performance metrics and continuous process improvement.
- Solid background in people and stakeholder management.
- Fluent in Polish, with business-level proficiency in English.
- Ability to use data and anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
- Familiarity with key aspects of production, supply chain, and operations management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies.
- Background in a similar logistics or operational environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional context.
