Position Summary: The Area Director is the expert on all things Kith within the London market. They are focused on translating the Kith brand identity into their region and building a brand presence aligned with both the regional culture and the global Kith brand. This person will be able to build brand awareness and equity in the market through local brand partnerships, activations, events and by connecting Kith to local communities aligned with brand identity.

The Area Director will also support the London store by ensuring that the brand experience is aligned with global standards. This role is critical as the ultimate cultural team leader, who is comfortable in all areas of the business and is always ready to jump in and provide direction and feedback.

Primary Responsibilities

Store Marketing & Brand Experience:

  • Develop, coordinate and execute in-store marketing events & consistent programming for Retail and Food & Beverage.

  • Drive brand  identity by advising on retail experience, supporting retail recruiting and talent development. 

  • Support retail onboarding and ongoing training to ensure retail team embodies brand identity and culture. 

  • Host store tours for key opinion leaders and press in collaboration with regional Public Relations agency.

Partnership Management :

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies with external partners in collaboration with partnerships and marketing teams.

  • Explore,  identify and present new partnership opportunities. 

  • Utilize business acumen when partnering with all appropriate stakeholders to drive business results that are in the best interest of the brand.

Business Oversight and Development :

  • Remain up to date on key details across all aspects of the business,  including but not limited to retail, marketing, partnerships, merchandising and the Food & Beverage business.

  • Provide high level business insight to leaders in headquarters across multiple categories including but not limited to Partnerships, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Experience, Retail Operations, Food & Beverage.

  • Development local initiatives to support brand awareness and drive revenue in the U.K. region.

Kith Community Building & Management:

  • Develop and maintain the Kith community network

  • Host VIP guests

  • Develop and manage the Friends & Family list in collaboration with VIP team

  • Support marketing team in building events guestlists and seeding lists 

Special Projects:

  • Lead or support the execution of any off-site events and activations

  • Host any store visits or VIP shopping experiences.  

  • Communicate Product Knowledge and Brand Education material to the store team.  

  • Provide high-level business insight and feedback during visits to NYC HQ. 

  • Support marketing team with sourcing production agencies and provide oversight of physical marketing activations 

  • Support the execution of Kinnect community programming and events

Availability:

  • Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays.

Experience:

  • 7+ years of Management experience

  • 5+ years of partnerships/marketing experience 

  • 5+ year(s) of retail/apparel experience

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong Communication skills

  • Natural Leader

  • Project management 

  • Ability to multi-task and impact multiple facets of the business at the same time

  • High level understanding of Kith brand positioning 

  • Deep local  knowledge of U.K. Fashion industry and culture
