Architecture Lead Analyst Vice President

Overview of the organization: 

The COO Enterprise Solution Architect is responsible for the development of best-in-class technology platforms for Operations, including development of an integrated portfolio of Operations tools, end-to-end solution design and development for large scale transformation initiatives, design governance, and adoption of Generative AI solutions for driving operational efficiencies. 

Role:   

The Architecture Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for leading variety of Solution Architecture, Design and development activities including the analysis of functional requirements, evaluation of different options and presenting comparative analysis along with recommendation to senior stakeholders. Individual will apply in-depth domain knowledge of financial services to grasp all facets of the multiple dimensional business problems and develop solution options. 

Individual needs to be results-oriented, innovative and motivated to drive opportunities in efficiency gains, enhanced controls and extensible scalability. This is articulated and demonstrated through various types of architectural artifacts. This high performing team designs enterprise-wide solutions for critical business needs leveraging solutions, business, technical, and data architecture. Key stakeholders include operations teams, product teams and application development teams from different LoBs & functions within the organization. These engagements are global. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop solution design options for enterprise-wide initiatives, evaluate the art of the possible, and devise recommendation options across several evaluation dimensions
• Development of GenAI / Agentic AI solutions for addressing business needs for efficiency, productivity, and speed of execution

• Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmap 

• Partners with other developers and architects to build large scale solutions
• Evaluates and tests potential architecture solution designs to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements 

• Ensure that all integration of functions fulfill business goals 

• Define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements 

• Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes 

• Exhibit knowledge of how own specialty area contributes to the business and apply knowledge of competitors, products and services 

• Strong experience in data structures and its impact on design principles as well as proposals 

• Advise or mentor junior team members 

• Impact the solution design by influencing decisions through advice, counsel or facilitating services 

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. 

Qualifications: 

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Application Development, Solution Design, and Business Architecture roles 

• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment 

• Proven track record of operational process engineering, change and improvement 

• Project / Program Management experience 

• Strong hands-on experience with Agile delivery, product management, and value stream methodologies 

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication 

• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices 

• Proven track record in producing high-quality project artifacts. 

• Demonstrated analytic & diagnostic skills 

• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams 

• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative 

• Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements 

• Experience of using AI tools (such as CoPliot, Devin) and Prompt Engineering 

• Experience in delivering Generative AI solutions (Assistants, Agentic Flows, Document Processing etc.) is a big plus 

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Engineering, Finance, or equivalent experience 

• Master’s degree preferred
