Job Description Summary

Architectural Works Inspector is responsible for inspecting and monitoring architectural and finishing works to ensure they meet approved designs, quality standards, and project specifications. The role supports Engineer by ensuring high quality workmanship and adherence to data centre requirements, including cleanroom like finishes, fire rated partitions, doors, and containment structures.

About the Role:  

  • Inspect architectural works including partitions, ceilings, doors, flooring, façade elements, waterproofing, and internal finishes to ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards.
  • Verify materials delivered to site and ensure they match approved samples and technical specifications.
  • Monitor contractor workmanship, highlight defects or non‑conformances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with civil, MEP, and structural teams to resolve interface issues impacting architectural installations.
  • Maintain daily inspection records and report progress, quality concerns, and risks to the Resident Engineer.

About You:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience inspecting architectural and finishing works in commercial, industrial, or data‑centre projects.
  • Hands‑on experience with architectural elements such as partitions, ceilings, flooring, waterproofing, façade systems, fire‑rated assemblies, and internal finishes.
  • Good understanding of international and local standards applicable to architectural and fire‑rated works.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, material inspection, defect identification, and installation verification.
