What You’ll Do:
Support the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and construction documents for transit-related facilities, including stations and support buildings.
Assist in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (structural, MEP, civil) to ensure integrated and well-coordinated design solutions.
Contribute to design development from concept through construction documentation under the guidance of senior staff.
Help interpret and apply building codes, accessibility requirements (ADA), and client design standards.
Participate in internal team meetings and assist with the preparation of presentation materials.
Provide support during construction administration, including reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFIs.
Perform redline updates and assist with quality control of deliverables.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
1–3 years of professional architectural experience (internship experience included).
Working toward architectural licensure (ARE progress or on licensure track preferred).
Basic understanding of building systems, construction documentation, and design processes.
Familiarity with applicable codes such as IBC and ADA; exposure to NYC codes is a plus.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative design environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to transportation, civic, or infrastructure projects through coursework or professional experience.
Familiarity with BIM workflows and 3D modeling tools.
Interest in sustainable and resilient design practices.

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $85,000 - $105,000 annually for this position and local market.
