Key responsibilities:
Operational Delivery
- Coordinates and supervises day-to-day tasks and workload allocation.
- Recognizes unusual transactions, trends, or variations and communicate findings and recommendations to the management and stakeholders.
- Proactively recognizes issues within scope of responsibilities, identifies options and implements solutions.
- Participates in further waves of process transition and stabilisation.
Performance Management and Continuous Improvement
- Drives team and process performance through data driven insights.
- Coordinates, develops and maintains documentation on projects and team assignments.
- Support Projects including process re-designing and process standardization.
- Ensures that process documentation and process flow are updated on regular and timely basis
- Drives automation and process optimization
- Provides inputs to restructuring and automation projects
Stakeholder Management
- Provides clear, concise, and regular updates to all stakeholders, both internal and external, and to the leadership team.
- Drives operational governance.
- Coordinates efforts across different departments to address inter-departmental issues and collaborates to deliver the best service experience.
Escalation Management
- Monitors team performance in handling escalations and provides coaching to improve proficiency.
- Leads issue resolution and implements relevant controls in line with process requirements.
- Reports issues to relevant stakeholders
Risk, Compliance & Controls
- Maintains controls and procedures of Accounts Receivable process. Ensures control governance is in place in terms of operating and design effectiveness of controls
- Ensures timely closure of audit findings
Team Management:
- Mentors and provides guidance to the team members
- Leads, motivates and engages the team to achieve goals
- Conducts regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews and development discussions
- Promotes accountability, collaboration, and open communication
- Participates in recruitment and onboarding of new team members
Position requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting (preferable)
- 10+ years’ experience in finance incl. Billing (with the experience gained at GBS or BPO)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership roles including that of TL
- Expert knowledge of end-to-end AR process and related accounting with special emphasis on Billing
- Language: English B2/C1; German B2/C1 will be an advantage
- Experience with ERP system: SAP is a must
- Managing improvement projects, leading improvement initiatives, embedding Continuous Improvement culture within a team
- Excellent communication and influencing skills across cultures
- Stakeholder and escalation management
- Conflict Resolution and change management
