Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in education.
- Specialist in Mathematics at the Primary/Junior Division; second speciality is an asset.
- Facilitated professional development activities focused on implementing the Ontario Mathematics curriculum at the elementary level over the past two years.
- Current leadership position in facilitating professional learning to teachers and administrators with respect to Mathematic teaching and learning at the elementary level.
- Involved in a professional network in Mathematics.
- Experience facilitating Primary/junior Mathematics AQ.
- Membership or leadership position in Mathematics education professional organization.
- Has been responsible for developing and implementing an elementary Mathematics program in an Ontario classroom during the last five years.
- Ability to apply the Ethical Standards and the Standards of Practice of the Teaching Profession in Ontario.
An acceptable level of education/experience could be viewed as being equiv. to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
