The State Street Alpha Portfolio Services team consists of Front Office Support, Front Office Data Control, Onboarding & Operational Readiness, Portfolio Health, Cash Services, Account Services, and Service Delivery Management functions. Our teams operate across the India, UK, US, Poland, and China, and work closely with global partners across the organization.
Alpha Portfolio Services is expanding to support clients on our Front-to-Back Investment Platform - Alpha. We offer a wide range of opportunities for motivated individuals across Front Office Support, Front Office Data Control, Portfolio Health, Cash Services, Account Services, and Service Delivery Management. We are building a highly skilled team of Alpha professionals responsible for supporting day-to-day client operations and driving successful implementations for new clients.

You will join State Street Global Delivery (SSGD), which provides asset owners and managers with the critical financial tools they need to deliver effective investment solutions. Our services span core custody, accounting, fund administration, shareholder recordkeeping, investment operations, and solutions for alternative asset classes including OTC derivatives, private equity, and real estate. SSGD’s tools and expertise empower our clients to make informed investment decisions and achieve their growth ambitions.

What you will be responsible for
Successful applicants may support a combination of the following functional areas:
Front Office Data Control
Act as the primary support contact for clients using Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS).
Take ownership of issues through resolution, engaging internal teams as required to correct CRIMS and IBOR data.
Ensure position and transaction data in the CRIMS aligns with State Street’s front-office platform and IBOR recordkeeping systems.
Middle Office Services - Cash Services
Manage liquidity, third-party cash flows, and related queries.
Deliver daily cash projections, overdraft monitoring, and stale balance reports to fund managers to support active cash-level oversight.
Portfolio Health (Portfolio Control & Enterprise Business Solutions)
Act as subject matter experts in the IBOR recordkeeping system and support client operations teams with complex queries.
Investigate and resolve client data issues using Middle Office systems, including SQL for research, analysis, and data tracking.
Account Services
Coordinate the setup, maintenance, and closure of portfolios across all State Street Middle Office systems and services.
End Client Reporting
Perform report analysis to ensure client requirements are met and escalate potential issues proactively.
Cross-Functional Expectations:
Build cooperative and professional relationships across Middle Office teams, including but not limited to Accounting, Corporate Actions, Trading, and Performance.
Collaborate effectively with global delivery teams, leveraging all available resources to achieve group and client goals.
Interact with clients in a service-oriented manner during implementations and business-as-usual activities.
Participate in projects.
Remain familiar with back-up procedures in case of system or transmission issues.
Individual Contributor Responsibilities:
Demonstrate individual ownership and accountability in all assigned tasks.
Uphold the highest standards of the State Street Code of Conduct.
Provide clear, accurate information to support business unit decision-making.
Promote and contribute to the firm’s Risk Excellence culture.
Ensure strict adherence to delegation limits, escalation procedures, and internal/external regulatory requirements.
Industry-relevant examinations will be supported.
Authorization and Escalation:
The Your VP/AVP/Officer within Information Services India or Business Operations (APAC, EMEA, NA) may delegate various functional responsibilities to Associates and Senior Associates to ensure smooth completion of daily tasks.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 4-8 years of experience in asset management operational.
Graduate or Master’s degree preferred
Knowledge of Visual basics is an added advantage
Familiarity with order management systems, ideally CRD, is beneficial but not mandatory.
