By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll have received industry-standard training and attained qualifications that will enable you to progress and reach your full potential.
What you'll be doing;
Minimise external sample turnaround times via prompt receipt, analysis and reporting
Provide accurate pre-acceptance sample reports to enable swift and accurate pricing of customer enquiries
Ensure Plant samples are analysed in a timely manner and any issues reported
Promote change and push continual improvement
Work as a team whilst promoting Veolia Values at all times Read, understand and participate in safety, commercial, financial and production performance information plus general communications
Support the Analysts and Day Chemists in ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained throughout the day, Including weighbridge, training, holiday assistance and other associated tasks
Ensure all samples received onto site are booked in, sampled, analysed and stored in line with local procedures
Maintain high standards and maintenance of analytical equipment
Provide analytical support to plant processing and effluent treatment plant
Monitoring laboratory equipment performance and reporting defects to ensure timely remedial action is taken
What we're looking for;
A minimum of 4 GCSEs Grade 4/C (or equivalent) achieved or predicted, including Maths & English
A minimum of 3 A Levels (or equivalent) achieved or predicted, including Science/Stem disciplines
Willingness to learn
Problem solving skills
Communication skills
Drivers License (willingness to travel)
