Position Overview:

This position is responsible for a variety of equipment repair functions in a service-oriented environment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Location: Edmonton
Terms: Permanent Full-Time

Job Description:

Basic Functions:

• Repair machines and perform a variety of service oriented functions

Qualifications:

• Willing to work towards Heavy Equipment Technician Certification.
• Successfully meet Finning’s educational and testing prerequisites.  This includes:
• Completion of grade 12 (not including a general equivalent diploma)
• Highly motivated and mechanically inclined
• Strong assets will include:
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Previous Caterpillar experience and basic computer skills

Notes:

• Schedule is 5x2, potential to shift to 7x7 continuous shift

• This is a unionized position.  Union dues will be deducted from your pay upon hire.  Terms of employment are governed by a collective agreement.
