How you will make contributions that matter

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is wanting to start their career as a Fitting & Turner on at our Allansford factory.

We are seeking a motivated, committed and reliable person who is wanting to gain practical on the job experience, whilst receiving extensive training.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements and legislative policies.
  • Meet obligations contained in Apprentice Training Contract. Including but not limited to attending block training, complete E profiles/on-the-job logbooks in a timely manner.
  • Under guidance, assist with and participate in the construction, maintenance and installation of equipment installed for the purpose of processing milk and milk products.
  • Follow any guidance required to ensure work is performed in accordance with safety, technical and operational specifications, and standards.

These roles will work on a Monday - Friday shift pattern, 7:00am – 3:30 pm. 

About you:

To be successful you’ll need:

  • Positive can - do attitude.
  • To have completed year 12 Mathematics, Physics and English will be looked upon favorably.
  • To have practical trade skills and/or relevant pre-apprenticeship.
  •  Possess an aptitude for engineering.
  • Hold a current driver’s license or provisional driver’s license.
