Job Description:
Global Payment Operations manages global wire transfers and ACH payments for internal and external bank clients, supports end-to-end payment execution for transactions initiated through various channels. Provides sanctions screening globally for multiple products, in accordance with policies established by the Enterprise Global Economic Sanctions Team.
GPO UAT responsible for various UAT testing engagements encompassing Payment’s platform for EMEA, APAC, US and Canada regions.
Sanctions Review team performs Sanctions Screening in FircoSoft system for all payments entities, settlements and trade transactions for Asia, EMEA & US at Enterprise level.
SSCoE serves BAML’s eight lines of business, delivering global, regional and local capabilities through secure, fast and reliable technology, and people with the knowledge and experience to deliver timely and accurate review of all sanction’s alerts across all products of Bank of America. Team also has the responsibility to provide support to client facing teams and clients where needed to educate on compliance program, drive better quality of data defining the customer and their day-to-day banking transactions.
Global Investigations process deals with handling of payment related queries received from banks, internal BOA departments, and customers, Nostro outstanding & returned payments. All queries require detailed analysis & resolution as per standard timelines. The team handles Investigations for all currencies arising for Asia, EMEA & US regions.
Global Wholesale Banking Operations comprises operations for Commercial and Corporate banking clients. These operations support the business across US, Asia Pacific, & EMEA regions. GWBO functions include implementation and servicing of credit, depository and treasury products, processing of payments and processing of trade finance transactions.
Wholesale Lockbox involves Supplemental /Check Keying which is data entry of information from images of checks and associated documents. Process receives images of invoices, corresponding checks & other account receivables documents from wholesale client remitters. This data is extracted and scanned in 7 wholesale lockbox sites and the data made available to GBS is restricted to those accounts that have been coded "remote-eligible". GBS Associates access dedicated VICOR workstations to key this information according to Standard Operating Procedure OR client special instructions.
Collateral Booking function handles the stage of Life of Loan from booking to input of collateral securing that loan. The loan package is received from Financial Booking team, collateral is booked, and exception information is noted on the System of Record for informational, reporting and tracking purposes. Accurate input is critical to assessing risk levels of the loan portfolio.
Loan Servicing Operations supports existing Commercial Lending products and services (Syndicated & Bilateral Loans). These services include updating customer and loan information, responding to client and business partner enquiries, managing financial and non-financial transactions, generating bills and invoices, and providing customer support and general maintenance through the life of the loan.
EMEA Loan Operations team provides operational and administrative support by booking & amending facilities, on Bilateral & syndicated loans agented by different banks/financial institutions. Loan IQ is the system of record for processing all transactions, depending upon the type of deal. Key transactions processed through Loan IQ platform include advances, principal/interest/fee payments, rollovers, rate sets & conversions.
Trade Operations team across all products including Letter of Credit, Collections, Open Account, Supply Chain Finance etc. He /She will be involved in day-to-day processing of transactions while ensuring adherence with Trade Guidelines (UCP 600, URR, URC etc.) and Bank of America standards.
Asia Loan Servicing Team is responsible for the maintenance /administration of Syndicated & Bilateral Loans, Loan disbursement, Loans Fee processing, timely review & clearing of breaks assigned to loans responsible unit across 07 Asian Branches. Additionally, the team also performs reporting activities for Loans transactions
The WF&IO team works on the various Commercial FLUs (Front Lint Unit) and Credit Fulfillment that ensures non flood due diligence is performed on all Real Estate secured loan originations and renewals (MIREs: Make, Increase, Renew, Extend) before loan closing. WF&IO has robust routines to monitor the life of loans that meet credit policy thresholds to ensure adequacy of insurance coverage annually.
Pre QA – Team verifies the information and collateral details on Legal property documents and Borrower information before the funding of the loan to the borrower. In addition, the team is also responsible to perform the Inline QA on the UCC continuation queue
Insurance - Team monitors the Collaterals of the Line of Credits and ensure timely renewal of the various Insurance Policies on Hazard, Content, Liability & Life Insurance
UCC - Team is involved in continuation of UCC statement in every 5 years for perfection of security interest on the collateral during the life of a loan
EDIQA Team is responsible for assessment and testing of new products, enhancements to existing
products, simulating the role of a customer or end user. QA develops a Test Strategy/Plan that outlines
the testing procedures, scenarios and incident / defect management process that will effectively test the
reliability of the product.
The Centralized Quality Assurance Team is a Centralized and Independent team resulting in standardized & consistent QA procedure across the business for work performed by GDCE.
