Your Mission 

As an Application Specialist MTM Digital and Services, you will be the technical expert responsible for ensuring our customers receive the full value of Sandvik Coromant’ s Total Solutions Offer. You’ll work closely with customers that progress in production automatization to implement CoroPlus and VTL innovative solutions, support sales activities, and drive business growth in line with our global strategy and local business plans. Location of the successful candidate is within the Czech Republic with frequent travelling within Moravia region. 

Key Responsibilities 

As an Application Specialist MTM Digital and Services, you will design, promote and train high-impact technical solutions that elevate customer productivity and operational performance. You’ll lead end-to-end implementation of advanced digital solutions, collaborating closely with Account Managers to support both end-users and channel partners. By executing targeted Account and Customer Value Plans (especially digital and production improvements priorities), you’ll expand our footprint across strategic customer and selected growing segments. Your role includes diagnosing complex manufacturing challenges, optimizing production workflows, and delivering measurable improvements through technical project execution. You’ll manage sales pipelines and opportunity data in Dynamics 365, ensuring precision in forecasting and business planning. As a digital technology ambassador, you’ll introduce innovative solutions aligned with future manufacturing trends (automatization, production improvement and other AI tools), while building strong, trust-based relationships with production teams to secure long-term, profitable partnerships.                                                                                                                                  

• Provide expert-level support in digital products and services, applications, systems, and services—on-site or remotely—to maximize business opportunities. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during or after solution implementation. 

• Lead cross-functional coordination for seamless project execution and solution delivery. 

• Design and execute customer-specific applications, tool testing, and integrated offers. 

• Provide technical training and knowledge transfer across several customer stakeholders, partners, and internal teams in collaboration with Sandvik Coromant Centers and experts. 

• Troubleshoot implementation issues and document performance outcomes to support product development. 

• Document performance and savings of applied solutions through PA reports to support product development and competitiveness. 

• Collaborate and follow trends within hardware, software and systems providers to ensure our digital offer solutions are well configured and installed to meet customer needs (e.g., Virtual Gibbs, MasterCam, Spike, Coroturn+, VeriCut etc.). 

• Train and collaborate with customer engineering teams to ensure precise solution configuration and installation. 

• Monitor competitor technologies and share actionable insights with sales and R&D and educate local FLS in digital and service trends. 

Your profile   

You bring a solid education in Engineering, Economics, and digital services environment or a related discipline—alternatively, equivalent hands-on experience in technical fields is highly valued. Proven expertise in digital product offer area for industry automatization and improvements using digital applications in our offer.  You’re experienced in managing projects end-to-end and skilled in building collaborative relationships that drive customer value. Fluency in the local language is essential, and your intermediate English proficiency ensures effective communication across global teams and technical documentation. 

Other Required competencies: 

• Strong competence in digital trends that are utilized for production automatization and follow closely dynamic digital trend development. 

• Technical expertise in metal cutting and machining applications – good to have. 

• Understanding of CAD/CAM systems environment to be able to connect this to our digital offer tools and services. 

• Skilled in developing customer-centric solutions that enhance productivity and deliver measurable value. 

• Builds trusted relationships with key stakeholders, positioning Sandvik Coromant as a preferred partner. 

• Business-savvy with the ability to align customer needs with strategic opportunities, even in complex environments. 

• Communicates clearly and persuasively across technical and commercial audiences. 

• Leverages data and digital tools to manage pipelines, plan strategically, and drive performance.

Additional Requirements 

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
