The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services.  Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you’ll make an impact

1. You will identify, propose, advise and implement existing IT application technology and IT solutions/services, sharing knowledge and –depending on seniority - guiding others on implementation and operation, using understanding of existing IT application technology and business requirements. 

2. You will involve in the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of IT solutions/services where application knowledge is needed. 

3. You will be involved in application and software design, in order to provide product solutions for specific business needs.

4. You will manage/ support the entire process of building applications, from the design process, to creating, testing and rolling out the application.

5. You will design a product solution in line with specifications given by Solution Architect, Application Manager and business users.

6. You will implement application and provide support services for users.

7. You will provide trainings for the business users.

8. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or business management.

2. Required 5 years of experience in IT Applications Management and Service Delivery in multinational companies.

3. Experience and ability to work with virtual delivery teams as well as distributed stakeholders, experience in one or more coding languages (e.g. Javascript, C++, Python, Java. Specify the languages relevant to the role).

4. Experience with development platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Pega, Docker, Kubernetes. Specify the languages relevant to the role) and good understanding in ITIL 4 Preferred.

5. Required L6S Lean 6 Sigma Certification and experience with functional domain where the application belongs to. (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Sales & Marketing. Specify the languages relevant to the role).

6. Understanding of software development lifecycles and strong ability to understand context for code, the codebase, and its relation to business objectives.

7. Exceptional analytical abilities for navigating intricate data structures and demonstrated excellence in project management, Cyber Security Management of Application Development and maintenance.
