What success looks like in this role:
Responsible for the identification, tracking, and management of enterprise risks in Unisys cloud environments. This includes performing risk assessments and measuring the success and effectiveness of mitigation efforts. Collaboration across business units and effective communication of cloud security policies and procedures will be critical. Candidates for this role should have a strong background in cloud management and understand networking between on-prem and cloud environments.
- Manage the onboarding of applications into Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) tools, ensuring thorough scanning and identifying vulnerabilities early in the SDLC
- Good understanding of SCA, SAST tools like SonarQube, DependencyTrack or similar
- Design and maintain security dashboards for real-time visibility into vulnerabilities and risk metrics
- Analyze, prioritize, and manage application, and cloud infrastructure vulnerabilities; drive timely remediation with cross‑functional teams
- Review new software requests from a security perspective to ensure policy and best‑practice alignment
- Implement and maintain cloud security technologies and processes; collaborate with managed security service providers
- Advise business teams on cloud security best practices
- Conduct routine and targeted cloud security audits to ensure compliance and identify risks
- Perform cloud-based application security risk assessments
- Evaluate cloud‑related IT projects for security and compliance risks
- Develop and maintain application security policies and procedures
- Act as an escalation point for technical issues related to security tooling and SOC collaboration
You will be successful in this role if you have:
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent hands‑on experience, training, and certifications
- Strong experience conducting Dynamic Application Security tests (DAST) with DAST commercial tools.
- Strong knowledge of application security architectures, operations, security controls, and automation of security analysis.
- Experience with cloud security (preferably AWS or Azure) and related regulatory compliance requirements
- Cloud certifications (AWS or Azure) are a plus
- 5+ years of combined cloud engineering and security operations experience
- Proven experience in managing cloud security incidents
- Background in cloud security audits, compliance assessments, and posture improvement
- Experience with cloud identity management (AWS IAM or Azure AD)
- Ability to work with cloud event streams and automation workflows
- Strong communication skills for explaining risks and remediation to technical and business teams
- Excellent organizational and time‑management capabilities
