Job Summary:

Application Fulfillment Specialists assist agents with the procurement of their client’s life insurance, long term care, and disability policies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete applications directly with the client, coordinate signatures, order exams, and other related requirements based on age, face amount, and individual carrier guidelines.

  • Explain next steps and underwriting process to clients.

  • Maintain excellent oral and written communication with the agent and client throughout the procurement process.

  • Update all parties on status, requirements, etc.

  • Record receipt of application, all relevant medical information and pertinent details in our AMS (Agent Management System).

  • Utilize and drive e-solutions; be able to educate and walk clients through the e-signing process.

  • Develop cross departmental relationships to advocate the smoothest client experience.

  • Evaluate the need of each call to determine the best course of action for the agent and client.

  • Identify potential underwriting roadblocks and evaluate the next steps with your internal underwriter.

  • Partner with contracting to discuss contracting requirements and appointments.

  • Coordinate scheduling applications with agents, clients, or internal sales team.

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office and CRM applications

  • Adaptable and flexible • Exceptional communication (phone, in-person, and email)

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Exceptional follow-through

  • Track record of success in fast-paced customer service environment

  • Associate degree

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Prior experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred.

  • Life insurance license or willingness to obtain in the first six months
