About the Role

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team in Toronto, Canada and lead our operational support efforts, called the “run” team. This person will build and lead a multi-skilled team of engineers within GTMT who work across Salesforce, Mulesoft, and DoorDash’s proprietary technology stack.

In this role, you will:

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing engineering team that supports business-critical GTM platforms and services
  • Manage the technical health of our go-to-market systems and devops processes to maintain optimal performance, reliability, security, and scalability
  • Oversee the administration and user management of our go-to-market systems
  • Support the technical design of our go-to-market systems across multiple technologies, including Salesforce, Mulesoft, and home-grown first-party systems
  • Partner closely with Engineering/Owners and Product Owners to ensure our solutions align with GTM Product and Engineering strategy, operational needs, and long-term vision
  • Manage planning, capacity, and development schedules across a global support team
  • Define and uphold development processes that reinforce our commitment to change management, quality, and our software development lifecycle
  • Execute and uphold our agile delivery methodology with transparency and clear communication for all stakeholders
  • Establish best practices, documentation, and operational playbooks to drive efficiency, reliability, and scalability

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Build this team from the ground up, shaping its goals, culture, and ways of working
  • Lead a multidisciplinary technical team to design and implement scalable enterprise solutions across CRM, integration, and proprietary platforms
  • Hire, onboard, coach, and grow talented engineers, creating clear paths for career development
  • Co-create solutions with Product Managers/Owners and business stakeholders to support Sales, Support, and Operations
  • Influence and evolve the technical architecture for GTM systems in partnership with other product and engineering teams
  • Scale our development and operations through better processes, observability, and automation
  • Support and integrate additional third-party applications to create holistic, end-to-end solutions for our business processes

What we’re looking for…

  • 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise solutions across modern business platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Mulesoft, Proprietary Technologies)
  • 2+ years of experience managing a globally distributed engineering or business systems team that supports multiple regions, with a strong preference for previous experience managing a support function.
  • Business-facing communication skills, with the ability to translate technical decisions or features into business outcomes
  • Deep understanding of designing and building scalable, maintainable solutions using both configuration and code across one or more enterprise platforms
  • 4+ years of experience leading agile/SCRUM teams in the capacity of an Engineering Manager, Application Engineering Manager, or Technical Team Lead
  • A track record of delivering projects on-time by leveraging strong development processes, estimation, and thoughtful resource allocation
  • Passion for scaling teams and developing individuals in their careers through coaching, feedback, and clear growth paths
  • Comfort operating in a rapidly changing environment with evolving tools, requirements, and stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple development streams simultaneously, balancing strategic projects with critical support work
  • Strong presentation and technical writing skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • BA/BS/Masters in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or other relevant fields
