What’s the role?
This role will be part of the SMS group at ZEISS, focusing on advancing customer support and success by developing tailored application solutions for our tools. The individual acts as a vital liaison between ZEISS semiconductor customers and the FOB Repair, MeRiT, and PRT Product Management and Application Teams, gathering customer requirements and converting them into clear specifications and solutions. By specifying and creating innovative application solutions, this position is instrumental in ensuring customer satisfaction and enhancing operational efficiency. Serving as a key interface with product management and development teams, the person helps translate demands into detailed specifications, ultimately improving user experience.

Here’s what you’ll do:
Implement ZEISS SMS semiconductor, MeRiT, PRT (mask repair) solutions in the customer’s fab
Works jointly with customer’s process engineers and development personnel
Consults and supports the customer in data interpretation
Leads and performs customer tool acceptance
Performs Applications Troubleshooting and follow-up reports with customers
Provides applications training and technical support to customers
Provides first level applications training for SMS support staff
Provides quick response to customer and drive to closure with excellence in communication
Assists on-site Joint Development Projects with customers in close cooperation with HQ
Obtains knowledge of customer process tools and applications, new market opportunities
Works closely with HQ product managers and application to establish new applications
Provide training for sales
Open to helping support service, always in alignment with the service team
Willingness to travel
Do you qualify?
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience on advanced semiconductor processes and equipment.
Master or PhD Degree in Engineering, Physics or Chemistry, or equivalent related experience
Experience in using high level numerical software such as MatLab for data analysis
Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment: mechanical, electrical, and software components
Communication skills, self-direction, integrity, positive thinking, learning desire, teamwork

Compensation
Annual pay range: $131,000 – $163,000
Actual pay may vary based on job location, role scope, qualifications, education, experience, and the complexity or scarcity of required skills.
This position is eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions.
