Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Drive business growth through customer collaboration, new application development, and new product commercialization.
Leverage market specialization to strengthen Customer Inspired Innovation (CII) programs and complement product expertise.
Develop compelling value propositions to support effective commercialization.
Coordinate field trials with lead customers and assess local competitive and marketing practices.
Identify, replicate, and scale high‑impact product and market applications, focusing on new application development and efficient replication using e‑tools.
Use technical expertise and industry credibility to influence standards, practices, and regulations while capturing insights from market and customer processes.
Deliver customer‑ and market‑focused training through e‑media.
Communication
Able to communicate mechanical design concepts with external robot integrators and customers.
Collaborate effectively with other Application Engineers across Asia.
Robot Programming
Capable of programming industrial and collaborative robot arms such as KUKA, ABB, Fanuc, and UR.
Holds qualifications or equivalent experience in robot operation.
Experience with offline robot programming tools (RoboDK, ROS/ROS2, Robotmaster, RoboGuide).
Knowledge of control systems and familiarity with both camera‑based and scanner‑based vision systems, as well as general sensors.
Ability to control robot movement through PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
Experience managing robot cell control using PLC interfaces.
Experience integrating multiple hardware components into a robot cell.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Technical understanding of robotics fundamentals.
Basic programming skills aligned with the robot platform in use.
Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to operate 3D CAD tools or 3D viewers for analysis.
Experience developing CAD prototypes, building physical prototypes, and iterating designs based on customer feedback.
