Marvell Central Engineering (CE) develops Marvell most advanced High-Speed
SerDes (HSS) IPs covering multiple applications, Switch, Automotive, Storage,
Optics, etc. Acting as the engine to the company, Central Engineering provides the
source of power to every business unit in Marvell system.

Central System Engineering (CSE) in Central Engineering, independent of other
CE functions(including DSP algorithm development, circuit design, physical
design, packaging, etc.), is a function team responsible of validating all Marvell
HSS IPs in the lab environment and supporting all Marvell business units for fast
and smooth SoC production.

What You Can Expect

  • Work on the validation of different features in Marvell High-speed SERDES PHY, used in Ethernet and PCIe applications, using various equipment like oscilloscope, bit-error tester, time-domain reflectometer, vector network analyzer, arbitrary waveform generator, and other high-end rich-featured equipment.
  • Perform various mixed-signal functional verification and electrical performance characterization.
  • Provided hands-on technical support during the design, develop and deployment phases, ensuing successful implementation of SerDes IP solutions.
  • Collect the pertinent data, analyze and collate the results for validation reporting.
  • Involve in chip/system level IP application and support such as High-
  • Speed SerDes, PLL, ADC, power regulator, temperature sensor, etc.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including product management, design engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment of product capabilities with customer needs.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.
  • Basic experience in programing in Python.
  • Exposure to scripting using C/C++, MATLAB, or similar.
  • Coursework in electrical engineering with a particular focus on coursework that used hands on silicon hardware.
  • Introductory knowledge on Analog and Digital Mixed-signal design.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced coursework or prior internships in validation, Analog/Digital/Mixed Signal and VLSI design.
  • Experience using above coding languages to automate testing / processes
  • Understanding of power/thermal testing
  • Familiarity on relevant applications using high-speed signal processing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

94,160 - 141,000, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
