The Innovation and Automation team partners closely with business and IT leaders to design and deliver analytics and automation solutions that create real, measurable impact. As an Application Development Senior Advisor, you will turn complex data into insight, ideas into solutions, and opportunities into outcomes. This role is ideal for a curious problem solver who enjoys learning the business, working hands-on with data, and translating needs into scalable analytics and automation that improve how work gets done.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to identify data, analytics, and automation opportunities that drive operational efficiency and business value.
- Lead working sessions to define problems, design solutions, and deliver analytics and automation aligned to both near‑term priorities and long‑term strategy.
- Develop a deep understanding of business processes, workflows, and performance drivers to ensure solutions are practical, sustainable, and impactful.
- Analyze and interpret data using SQL, Python, and related technologies to answer business questions and generate actionable insights.
- Design, build, and maintain custom automation, data integration, and advanced analytics solutions that improve visibility, accuracy, and decision‑making.
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and communicate results in ways that resonate with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Build compelling visualizations and dashboards using Tableau, The Doctor, or similar tools to support informed decision‑making.
- Explore and evaluate emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies to continuously advance analytics and automation capabilities.
- Take ownership of projects, stakeholder relationships, and deliverables, demonstrating accountability, professionalism, and follow‑through.
- Collaborate closely with U.S.‑based partners and align working hours with the U.S. Eastern Time Zone.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in application development, automation, data analytics, or a related technical role.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with an operational mindset and the ability to think beyond standard approaches.
- Proven experience analyzing data using multiple SQL dialects and Python.
- Hands‑on experience with data mining, database exploration, and translating data into meaningful business insights.
- Experience developing data visualizations using Tableau or comparable analytics and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to tailor technical information for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to connect analytics and automation initiatives to measurable business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to independently drive solutions from concept through delivery with limited supervision.
- Experience working with medical claims data.
- Familiarity with contact center operations and related performance metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to think end‑to‑end, align solutions to business strategy, and understand complex operational workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
