MultiCare Cancer Institute is seeking a Medical Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Puyallup outpatient oncology team — a role built for those who value collaboration, stability, and purpose-driven work. In this full-time, weekday schedule, you will play a key role supporting cancer patients through treatment, symptom management, triage, coordination and ongoing continuity of care.
You’ll work alongside dedicated oncologists, infusion nurses, and supportive care partners — with access to >20 Hem/Onc providers across the MultiCare Cancer Institute network.
Provide comprehensive outpatient oncology care
Manage follow-ups, symptom support, treatment tolerance & survivorship care
Function alongside an attending oncologist with strong RN & clinic support
See ~12–15 patients/day once fully onboarded
Enjoy predictable 4x10s daytime hours

Puyallup offers a balance that many providers seek: a community-oriented environment with easy access to the amenities of the Puget Sound region. Located approximately 20 minutes from Tacoma and under an hour from Seattle, providers enjoy shorter commutes, established neighborhoods, excellent schools, and convenient access to the outdoors.

The MultiCare Cancer Institute is a physician-led, multi-specialty network providing comprehensive oncology care across Washington — from Olympia to Spokane, Tacoma to Yakima. We diagnose and treat 6,000+ new cancer cases each year and are expanding rapidly with a goal of becoming the highest-value oncology system in the Pacific Northwest by 2028.
Compensation Based on YOE:
0-4 Years YOE: $171,000.00
5-9 YOE: $176,400.00
10+ YOE: $181,800
*Opportunities for additional income including annual Quality Incentive up to $10,000.00, wRVUs, and extra shifts.*

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $130,461.00 - $176,947.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
