MultiCare Cancer Institute is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our medical oncology team in a 0.5 FTE, shift-based role supporting weekend coverage. This position focuses on triage, symptom management, and inpatient support, providing vital continuity of care for oncology patients while offering a predictable schedule and meaningful work–life balance.

MultiCare Cancer Institute is a physician-led, multispecialty oncology network delivering comprehensive hematology/oncology, radiation, surgical, and supportive cancer care. We diagnose and treat 6,000+ new cancer cases annually across Washington — from Tacoma to Olympia, Spokane, and Yakima. Tiered Compensation based on APP YOE:

0-4 YOE: $85,500.00

5-9 YOE: $88,200.00

10+ YOE: $90,900.00

Requirements

  • Washington State Nurse Practitioner license by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI & Prescriptive authority

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $130,461.00 - $176,947.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
