Job Description 

DuPont Adhesives is a global leader in the automotive adhesives market, known for leading innovation and success with all major OEMs. Products include elastic adhesive, structure adhesive, thermal management material, specialty adhesive and automotive fluids. Electric vehicle adoption grows rapidly, automakers and tier suppliers are focusing more on fully electric vehicle components and systems, creating new challenges and more opportunities for adhesive business. The APEC commercial Leader will drive APEC region sales and pipeline development performance through sales strategy, marketing and application development, will also lead and develop cross-regional LJO business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead APEC (AP exclude Greater China) sales team and accountable for outstanding businesses and financial results, including Sales Rev., pipeline development, Key account management, AR/PD and forecast accuracy.
  • Lead and collaborate on J-OEMs global key account management process to develop with strong cooperation relationships in Japan HQ, expanding cross-region sales activities within the global network
  • Implement global and regional sales and marketing strategy to build up DuPont’s leadership position in APEC countries.
  • Build up robust sales pipeline to drive profitable growth in APEC countries and help transfer oversea projects in LJO (Landed Japan Operation).
  • Closely work with marketing team to build up APEC strategic plan and accountable for execution and delivery
  • Provide business guidance to key commercial initiatives
  • Coach, mentor, and act as a role model for the sales team member to ensure employees’ development and career progression.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor or master’s degree, with Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Chemical or Automotive industry working with multi-value chain or multi-tier sector
  • Proficient in English is must, fluency in other Asian language is a plus
  • Proven interpersonal skills in building and leading a multi-culture team
  • Strong Global Key account management for OEMs, E-mobility or Battery development experience will be plus
  • Strong innovation project management experience and ability to prioritize
  • Global mindset and ability to understand and execute businesses strategy
  • Excellent customer interfacing skills and networking within customer’s multi-level organization  
  • Ability to lead complex negotiations
  • Proactive, aggressive, result oriented and strong sense of ownership
  • Willing to travel overseas
