The Team You’ll Work With

Carta is looking for a Go-to-Market Data Enrichment Intern to join the APAC & Middle East team. 

Carta opened its Singapore office in 2021, and since then, has been building a world-class team to support the startup and investor ecosystem across Asia Pacific and Middle East. The Singapore team is lean and agile, and composed of local venture industry experts and Carta experts. 

The APAC & MENA Go-To-Market team works with early-late stage startups across APAC and the Middle East, advising them on how Carta's leading equity management and fundraising software can add value to their growth. Reporting to Carta’s Head of GTM for APAC & the Middle East, this role will give you first-hand exposure to building a high-growth B2B FinTech business across APAC & the Middle East.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Regularly review and update critical contact information (e.g., Company name and LinkedIn email) in Salesforce to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and rectify any inconsistencies or errors in the CRM.
  • Generate Leads based on online research and add them to CRM.
  • Utilise LinkedIn, Lusha, and various extensions to enrich existing contacts with relevant and up-to-date information.
  • Research and add new contacts to expand our network and target audience according to the requirements provided by Sales Leadership
  • Conduct thorough research on Google to gather additional data and insights related to our contacts and industry trends.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and incorporate relevant findings into our database.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand their data needs and provide support in sourcing and enriching data accordingly.

About you:

  • Previous internship or work experience covering data enrichment and/or sales in a startup or tech company
  • Understanding of data mapping and leveraging tools such as Excel and CRMs
  • Desire to learn and work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Creative and able to organise your time and resources independently 

Nice to have:

  • Experience with sales platforms (Salesforce) and market databases (such as Pitchbook)
  • Proficiencies with wider Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite (GSuite)
  • Knowledge of the startup and venture capital ecosystem
