Job Description
- Define and execute the APAC GPD strategy to improve competitive positioning and expand market share across key industries and applications.
- Translate global and regional priorities into clear execution plans aligned with customer buying journeys.
- Act as a key strategic partner to APAC leadership in shaping medium- to long-term business plans.
- Lead, develop, and engage a team of 20+ Product specialists and Workflow specialists across APAC.
- Build strong technical depth, application expertise, and leadership capability to support current and future growth.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer focus.
- Drive development of high-impact demonstrations, targeted solutions, and workflows that address critical customer needs.
- Partner with Marketing and Service Delivery to ensure strong alignment across the end-to-end customer buying journey.
- Strengthening customer satisfaction and loyalty through differentiated technical engagement.
- Deliver regional financial targets, market share growth, and LC growth with effective prioritization of resources to maximize regional impact.
- Maintain strong focus on the instrument portfolio, while ensuring tight integration with consumables and services to deliver complete customer solutions.
- Drive content creation and digital technical engagement to scale customer reach and support modern selling models across APAC.
- Geographical territory across South Asia, Japan, Korea and India working closely with APAC leadership teams.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required; advanced business degree with emphasis on marketing or market management required. MBA or PhD preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of managing multi-functional responsibilities within a global organization.
- Proven history of profitable technical sales execution and sustained market share growth.
- Strong people leadership and management experience, including direct management of managers.
- Experience in product commercialization, application development, and solution-based selling.
- Demonstrated success in leading change management initiatives within complex organizations.
- Proven ability to drive process and workflow improvements across organizations and sales channels.
- Experience building and leading multi-functional, cross-cultural teams in a regional or global environment.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Strong negotiation and enterprise-level sales leadership capabilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Hands-on, results-oriented leader with a proven ability to create and execute effective sales and growth plans.
- Strong organizational development and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with clarity and impact at all levels.
