The Impact You’ll Make

We are currently seeking an experienced Service Technician ANZ to join our QLD site in Darra on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Service and Training Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing and delivering technical support, dealer training, equipment inspections, and warranty and breakdown repairs for Valley dealers and end users.

This is a hands-on customer and dealer facing role, with travel to customer sites to install, inspect, repair and maintain equipment.

What you’ll do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries and support requests from customers in Australia, New Zealand and some support to Southeast Asia.

  • Main point of contact and subject matter expert for technology enquires and service requirements, both for hardware and software products.

  • Conduct on-site diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.

  • Collaborate with customers and dealers to understand the end user operational requirements and provide tailored solutions.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service activities using CRM systems, including service reports, parts usage, and customer communication.

  • Provide remote assistance to customers, guiding them through troubleshooting procedures and resolving issues promptly.

  • Document and communicate technical solutions clearly and comprehensively.

  • Manage warranty claims and provide feedback to the product management team, to enhance the product offering.

  • Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.

What You’ll Bring

You will come from an irrigation/agriculture background with strong technical knowledge of systems, pumps, center pivots, filtration and other irrigation systems. Ideally you’ll hold qualifications relating to Electrical or Electrical Engineering, with a strong mechanical aptitude in order to provide efficient hands on technical support and solutions to our customers.

You’ll also have;

  • Ability to communicate and present in an effective and engaging manner with customers and employees at all levels.

  • Pro-active attitude and capable of coordinating projects and multi-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated success in providing efficient technical support and solutions to customers.

  • Proven ability to operate autonomously with sound decision making capabilities and able to effectively prioritise critical activities.
